We’re seeking an Operation Specialist, based in Brussels, Belgium office. Under the responsibility of the Senior Specialist/Head of Operations Benelux and in collaboration with the business teams, the incumbent will be responsible for providing operational and field support to the WURS BENELUX Dedicated Location (27 stores in 2 countries, 100+ employees) and occasionally to subagent networks. He/she will have local ownership of systems and will be accountable for all operational topics as well as service delivery for WURS own stores.

✓WURS systems - local ownership:

o Coordination of upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting,

o Propose and/or coordinate improvement projects,

o Bridges between WURS and WU IT, Operations, Compliance, CSC teams (regional or central) as well as vendors (Orbit, Ricoh, Orange…),

o Implementation of new products and technologies at WURS owned stores

✓Process & training:

o Write and/or update of relevant procedures and operating methods

o Write and/or update training material for FLAs & Supervisors

o Onboard and train new FLAs on WURS systems o Train WURS staff on system upgrades, new systems, procedures


o Be the preferred point of contact between business stakeholders (FLAs, Senior FLAs, Regional Supervisors, Head of dedicated locations, Country director) and WU support departments & vendors to ensure business objectives are met

o Propose proactively operational improvements initiatives to business leaders

o Partner with AML/Compliance and internal Control stakeholders to ensure WU stores meet highest quality standards in these domains

o Collaborate effectively with Security/Safety teams to ensure operational processes are consistent with needs and applicable laws/regulation

o Work closely with Administrative & Accounting teams to guarantee proper cost monitoring and propose/implement all relevant cost saving initiatives in his/her area of responsibility.

What youwill need to succeed:

✓Demonstrate strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills

✓Great customer orientation with attention to detail

✓Good interpersonal communication skills

✓Extensive knowledge of general IT

✓Written and spoken English, French and Dutch

✓Positive and results focused individual

✓Able to offer solutions to problem but also proactively propose improvement initiatives

✓Ability to work independently and under remote supervision, yet communicates effectively upwards on a timely basis when required

✓Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

✓Bachelor's degree with to 2 to 5 years job experience in an operational support role (ideally in a retail environment)
