We’re seeking aDirector, Strategic Partner Solutions (Business Development) in our Denver,Colorado office (global headquarters) . In this role, you will be responsible for creating key partnerships for a new Western Union business Vertical. The role requires a broad range of competencies, including but not limited to relationship management, business development, analysis, project scoping and management, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge in continuous process improvement and have proven success in both short-term and long-term goal achievement. Furthermore, the role will require excellence in creating and maintaining productive partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead prospecting, strategic partner selection, and thepartner solutioning process for large strategic targets for a new WUbusiness vertical.

  • Prioritize leads based on global revenue potential andserve as primary day-to-day prospect relationship lead from firstdiscussions to solutioning.

  • Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to identifysolutions that are tailored to the specific needs of each potentialpartner.

  • Effectively manage a prospect pipeline, driving keyaction items and next steps proactively - both internally and externally.

  • Identify potential clients and the decision makerswithin the client organization.

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the market, thesolutions/services the company can provide and of the company’scompetitors.

What you will need tosucceed:

  • Minimum 10 + years in a partner sale andsolutioning role.

  • University degree required, Master’s degreepreferred.

  • Must have strong partnership, product, and organizationskills

  • Travel 50%

  • History of enterprise partnerships
