We’re seeking aDirector, Strategic Partner Solutions (Business Development) in our Denver,Colorado office (global headquarters) . In this role, you will be responsible for creating key partnerships for a new Western Union business Vertical. The role requires a broad range of competencies, including but not limited to relationship management, business development, analysis, project scoping and management, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge in continuous process improvement and have proven success in both short-term and long-term goal achievement. Furthermore, the role will require excellence in creating and maintaining productive partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.

Lead prospecting, strategic partner selection, and thepartner solutioning process for large strategic targets for a new WUbusiness vertical.
Prioritize leads based on global revenue potential andserve as primary day-to-day prospect relationship lead from firstdiscussions to solutioning.
Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to identifysolutions that are tailored to the specific needs of each potentialpartner.
Effectively manage a prospect pipeline, driving keyaction items and next steps proactively - both internally and externally.
Identify potential clients and the decision makerswithin the client organization.
Possess a thorough knowledge of the market, thesolutions/services the company can provide and of the company’scompetitors.
What you will need tosucceed:
Minimum 10 + years in a partner sale andsolutioning role.
University degree required, Master’s degreepreferred.
Must have strong partnership, product, and organizationskills
History of enterprise partnerships
