Western Union is looking to fill a Senior Payroll Analyst at our corporate headquarters, in Denver, CO.

Performs and audits all activities necessary for United States payroll processing
Prepare, load and audit data via batch process
Meet all deadlines, providing timely and accurate payments
Responding to inquiries from and providing information to employees, supervisors and key business partners across the region
Responsible for analysis of complicated payroll calculations to ensure tax and audit compliance.
Areas of focus are on complex, front-end payroll activities such as leave of absence, terminations and severance Analyze and approve
Workday process; reporting from WD for Global payroll if required Audit of Workday time tracking and time off data and Workday HR/Payroll maintenance
Garnishment processing and payment Backup of Canadian payroll processing Preparation of monthly reports as required Input transactions on online bank system Strong collaboration with the payroll and Global Total Rewards teams
What you’ll need to succeed:
Extensive United States payroll experience, minimum of 6 years
Proven experience with customer service
Strong professional communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team driven environment
Solid knowledge of Payroll systems
Ability to learn new HR and Payroll systems and processes quickly
Ability to use Microsoft applications, primarily Excel, Outlook and Word
Ability to manage and prioritize workloads
Ability to handle stress of tight deadlines and adaption to changing work environment
What will make you standout:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related area Certified Payroll Professional designation
Prior background with Workday HCM/Payroll systems
Experience in Payroll support, preferably in an international environment
Experience with time tracking, absence management and time off systems Canadian payroll processing experience
