We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing based in our Denver, Colorado office (global headquarters). In this role, you will assist with the development of category strategies which outline and define the markets and supply strategy to assist Business Units decision makers on the appropriate sourcing methodologies based on market conditions, regulatory/compliance requirements, risk potential and cost components, research spend, negotiate statements-of-work and perform various contract administration tasks related to the above.

Drive sourcing activities for portion of Western Union Marketing needs; for example: production, retail merchandise, and market research services
Develop minor category strategies with cross-functional teams which outline and define existing fact base, products, markets and supply strategies
Support development of major category strategies working with Sourcing leadership
Analyze business needs and markets
Create and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost-optimization and reductions
Know the supply market and sourcing savings opportunities as they relate to marketing spending
Deliver total cost of ownership reductions, as well as year-over-year productivity improvements while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels
Develop and maintain network across Western Union globally and specifically within Marketing organization
What you will need to succeed:
3+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing / Contract Administration and data analysis
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills

Marketing category or industry expertise
Experience in or interest in learning supplier sourcing, negotiation and contract management
Project Management (small-to-medium sized) experience
