Right now, we are hiring a Senior Business Analyst to work in our global headquarters located in Englewood, CO.

The Senior Business Analyst works closely with business and technical stakeholders and is responsible for identification and assessment of business goals and needs, requirement analysis, design and solution planning for the implementation, deliver and support of business solutions. The incumbent will engage with all levels in the organization in order to gather detailed descriptions of business requirements, program functions, and the steps required to develop or modify product solutions. This incumbent will also play a key role in setting out the organization’s overall solution strategy and roadmap. The successful candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and have the ability to work both independently or as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment under tight resource and schedule restrictions preferred. Demonstrated critical-thinking, problem-solving, and goal-setting skills are required.


  • Elicit anddocument requirements from business stakeholders across the organization

  • Balancerequirements of all business departments in the organization

  • Uncovercomplexity in stakeholder requests.

  • Conduct impactanalysis for development requests

  • Facilitaterequirement and design discussions between non-technical stakeholders andthe software development team.

  • Negotiatescope of development projects between stakeholders and development team

  • Collaboratewith Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand user goalsand needs.

  • Analyzebusiness workflow and suggest improvements.

  • Write userstories for development.

  • Collectbusiness feedback on in flight project design

  • Work closelywith the Product Manager to plan releases and manage scope.

  • Trouble shootproduction issues relating to software behavior

  • Assist ProductManagement in evaluating the impact of new opportunities and estimatingthe effort required to implement the software to support them.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree inIT, science or a related discipline, or possess an equivalent combinationof education and work experience.

  • Minimum 5years of related work experience, and financial sector expertise would bean advantage.

  • Ability tobuild relationships through-out all levels of the organization

  • Strong oraland written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of awide variety of tools and techniques used to elicit and communicaterequirements.

  • Experiencewith ‘Agile’ software development methodology.

  • Ability todetermine and analyze user goals and needs and apply to software design

  • Demonstratedability to apply experience and judgment to bring forth effective andpractical solutions.

  • Demonstratedability to interact with technical, business and operational experts toestablish and meet common goals.

  • Excellentnegotiation skills.
