Right now, we are seeking a SeniorInformation Security Analyst, based at Western Union’s headquarters in Denver,Colorado. As an Information Security Analyst, you will join a diverse and distributed Governance, Risk, and Compliance team responsible for analyzing business applications and entities to identify and measure information security risk. This role works across the IT organization and with business partners to identify and quantify risk and contribute to solutions that keep Western Union and its customers’ information secure.

  • Usesstrong policy and process knowledge, along with broad technology expertise toanalyze Western Union information systems and processes to determine compliancewith information security frameworks and regulatory requirements.

  • Designsand generates reports to inform risk assessments and identify assessmenttargets.

  • Compilesreports, summary analysis, and detailed presentations to describe impact, risk,controls, and maturity.

  • Tracksremediation of assessment findings.

  • Performmoderate to complex data collection and analysis to assist Governance, Risk,and Compliance (GRC) exam leads facilitating IT regulatory examinations.

  • Maintainawareness of laws, statutes, security control frameworks, and industry bestpractices to identify information security impacts.

  • Contributeto the ongoing design and configuration of GRC tool, including useradministration, reports, dashboards and configuration.

  • Drive andcontribute to ongoing process improvement and automation opportunities.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, InformationSystems or related field, and 5 or more years of experience in informationsecurity, technology, regulatory, or similar role.

  • Practical knowledge and experience withcompliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, National Institute ofStandards and Technology (NIST), Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard(PCI-DSS)

  • Capable of articulating IT security policies,processes, and technical controls.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillswith attention to detail

  • Appropriate industry certification preferred,such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP.
