We’re seeking a Technical Support Specialist / End-User Support Specialist / Implementation Specialist / Level-3 Support Specialist, based in our Denver Colorado office (global headquarters). In this role, you will be a part of a team responsible for building and managing systems that support the Western Union end user environment while meeting performance, compliance, and security requirements. This team provides third-level escalation support, partners with the Operational Excellence team, and is tasked with forward-thinking innovation and continuous improvement.

You will work with colleagues and stakeholders to identify hardware, software and system needs and specifications
Provide level-3 support for end-user technologies on workstations, mobile devices, servers and peripherals
Installation, configuration, troubleshooting or maintenance of end-user infrastructure systems and the release of new solutions.
Assist in designing, developing, testing and implementing technical solutions for end-user infrastructure systems
Execute test plans and proofs-of-concept as well as document results and integrate into final design.
Assists with integration of new hardware and software releases into the production environment
Recommend technology and process enhancements to improve service delivery
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree related to computer science preferred or equivalent experience (i.e. Computer Science, IT, etc.)
1-2 years of experience in related IT Domain.
Good knowledge of a variety of software and hardware systems, Microsoft and Apple products and end-user support.
Knowledge of at least 1-2 IT tools and strong troubleshooting skills
Proven customer support experience and understanding of business processes.
What will make you stand out:
Strong technical background and experience with a variety of tools, operating systems, and platforms.
Experience leading a project, team members, vendor partners and/or an initiative preferred
Experience working with or supporting Horizon View virtual desktop infrastructure is a big plus
Experience working with and supporting one or more of the following: Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server, MacOS, VDI, VPN, application packaging and deployment, patching, image build and maintenance, Active Directory, Group Policy.
Experience with one or more of the following tools: Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, JAMFPro, Powershell, WSUS, SCCM or Tanium
Curiosity and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
