We’reseeking an Officer, AML Compliance, based in our Hanoi office . In this role, you will implement and enforce the AML policies, procedures, and programs designed to minimize potential money laundering risk for Western Union and its Representatives (Agents). You will perform within the established strategies of the AML Compliance Department and under the general supervision from senior management. You will carry-out tasks pertinent to Agent Management or Oversight.

Transactionmonitoring and reporting
Testingand sampling procedures to assess effectiveness of the Agent’s complianceprogram or in validating Agent’s response to issues raised in risk managementreports
Evaluationof the corrective measures implemented by the Agent to address issuesidentifies in reviews and risk management reports
Coordinationwith colleagues outside the department
Perform othertasks that may be assigned by the AML Manager
What youwill need to succeed
At least three years of relevant experience in auditor risk management involving financial services compliance issues relating toanti-money laundering acts, and related laws or regulations.
At least two years of experience in anti-moneylaundering and counter terrorist financing compliance, general complianceand/or risk-based compliance
Understanding of anti-money laundering regulationswithin the banking/financial services industry
Strong analytical skills and understanding of bestpractices in the compliance field
Effective communication skills in Chinese andEnglish both orally and in writing
Familiarity with Microsoft applications, includingWord, Excel, PowerPoint or other database applications
What willmake you stand out
Experience in audit or risk management in afinancial institution, payment services organizations, a regulatory agency OR lawfirm involving financial services compliance issues relating to anti-moneylaundering acts, and related laws or regulations
Knowledge of retail or commercial financial productsand services, and operations
Keeping abreast of changes in anti-money launderingand regulatory policies
