Right now, we are seeking Application Architects based at Western Union’s global headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.
Application Architects for Western Union (Englewood, CO) – Coordinate release planning, technical resources, application build and the technologies used for company's software applications in the area of Salesforce or similar business applications. Work with program owners to develop and prioritize any backlog to ensure successful project delivery. Build program plans for strategic initiatives that span multiple Agile or non-Agile teams and keep stakeholders informed on the progress. Ensure appropriate approvals and project documentation is captured in a central repository and is ready for internal/external audit.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related; and 5 years post-bachelor’s software development experience as a Software Engineer or related software developer occupation; which must include financial domain experience; Salesforce; requirement gathering and requirements assessments experience; architecture, design for new systems and processes with understanding of the existing Business process; Functional specification; analytics, ETL and Reporting; and Database experience
