We’re seeking a Director, Real Estate Planning, Analysis, and Intake based in our Englewood, Colorado office (global headquarters) .In this role you, willperform real estate portfolio analysis, strategy definition, opportunity assessment, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for the real estate intake and approval process and performs financial modeling in support of driving, coordinating, and improving the cost structure of the global real estate portfolio. Other responsibilities may include key aspects of financial management, global real estate planning and forecasting, as well as development, measurement, and tracking of global portfolio metrics and drivers. You will work closely with business unit leaders, the corporate real estate team, human resources, finance, accounting, and key vendors. You will report to the Vice President, Global Strategic Sourcing and Corporate Real Estate.

  • Provide group leadership along with financial and business analysis expertise; partner with business unit leaders and SME’s in developing complex real estate business cases in compliance with US GAAP

  • Oversee financial modeling for real estate investment analysis

  • Own intake of new requirements and provide the process for analysis of new real estate demand and opportunities

  • Ability to provide business unit level account management coupled with expectation setting at all levels of the organization

  • Drive accuracy of Work Force Planning in conjunction with other business partners

  • Conduct post-mortem analysis of budget to actual performance to approved real estate business cases to drive continuous improvement

  • Own portfolio financial performance dashboards for executive review of progress and key performance indicators Conduct strategic business case analysis

  • Responsible for portfolio data and reporting

  • Intake, aka Gate Zero, process owner

  • Mentor and provide direction to Portfolio Financial Analysts

What you will need to succeed:

  • Ten years’ experience in real estate and facility financial analysis or accounting

  • Experience managing variety of database applications and abstracts and complex spreadsheets and delivering Executive-Level PowerPoint presentations

  • Commercial real estate project management experience

  • Knowledge and experience in Commercial Real Estate accounting is a plus

  • Mastery of Excel 2013 or higher; Formulas, Macros, Charts, Graphs, PowerPivot or BI

  • Able to take a strong initiative in interpreting policies and procedures to support dynamic organizational objectives and business success

  • Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully

  • Ability to be a company-wide change-agent that influences strategic actions and mindset changes

What will make you stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus

  • Knowledge of SharePoint, CoStar, and Collective View a plus, but not required

  • Strong oral, written, and analytical communication skills
