We’re seeking a Manager, Global Compliance Project Management, based in our Englewood, Colorado office (global headquarters) .In this role, you will influence resources instrumental in the development of processes, systems, and strategies related to Western Union compliance with international laws, government regulations and industry best practices. You will manage a small number of complex large projects or multiple complex small projects initiated within the Global Compliance Department.

Manage/coordinate activities of a project team, including research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review
Monitor/evaluate project progress, maintain project documentation and develop presentations for communication on progress
Be responsible for creating process flows and test cases, conducting testing, recognizing problem areas, analyzing solutions, and making recommendations for resolution
Work closely with Sr. Leaders by providing updates on projects and initiatives and presenting to broad audiences across business groups
May require additional work hours to complete tasks
What you will need to succeed:
Substantive understanding of project management methodology; prior experience managing projects within a compliance or technology organization
Understanding of anti-money laundering regulations within the banking/financial service s industry
Able to create change through influence, foster teamwork and orchestrate teams; demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, ability to earn the trust of leadership and business partners
Skills to work with senior executives (and all other levels) in a dynamic workplace
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
The ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment due to the nature of the global regulatory landscape
Self-starter responsible for strategic planning of their own area of responsibility
Ability to coordinate global program with diverse participation
Proactive, self-starter approach requiring only broad guidance
What will make you stand out:
Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree desirable
Minimum of five years of progressive experience managing projects in a complex retail financial services organizations with multiple products in payment services, or in a regulatory agency specializing in compliance issues for payment services
PMI Certification desirable. Substantive understanding of retail/commercial financial services products and delivery systems/platforms
Fluent in English; fluency in additional languages, such as Spanish, would be beneficial
