The Opportunity

The VP,Finance, Head of Technology and Shared Service FP&A is a key financial advisor in linking Technology and Shared Services (Operations, CFO, Legal, Compliance, HR) strategies with financial objectives. This role reports up through the Finance organization but support and provides the financial support to five members of the Executive team include the Chief Technology Officer, GCO, Chief Compliance Officer, CFO, and Chief HR Officer. This team provides consolidated reviews of financial performance, and projects future performance based on recent trends & other available information. It supports the financial governance processes to evaluate investment options focuses on end-to-end process improvement for areas of accountability. The position is located in our corporate office in Englewood Colorado.

  • Strategic Business Partner: Engage, partner with, andprovide strategic finance support for the Technology and Shared Servicesorganizations.

  • Owns the annual Technology & Shared Servicesfinancial plans and the associated budgeting, forecasting and R&Oprocesses; key contributor to the strategic planning process, including thelong rang financial forecast and analysis of long-term investments

  • Manages ongoing reporting cycle to ensure routinedissemination of business performance and discussion of results withTech/Shared Services management

  • Partners with Tech/Shared Services leaders to support keybusiness decisions; define clear leading indicator drivers of financialoutcomes

  • Supports effort to reduce operating costs; accountablefor driving productivity efforts and maintaining the workforce plan

  • Aligns to shifting Tech/Shared Services businesspriorities (e.g. new business efforts, org. changes, zero-based budgeting,product/channel cost attribution, etc.)

  • Codifies know-how and ways of working, ensuringconsistency and accountability in adherence to defined policies andpractices, reducing exceptions and variation

  • Operational Effectiveness: Champions the continuousimprovement of end-to-end processes for areas of accountability. Drive productivity improvements and enhanceoperational effectiveness

  • Organizational Leadership: Attract, develop, engage,manage, retain, and lead team of professionals

What you will need tosucceed:

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant finance experience with 8+years in a leadership position.

  • A Bachelors’ Degree is required; an MBA degree ispreferred.

  • The ideal candidate will have relevant Financial Servicesindustry (e.g., cross-border payments, foreign exchange products) andTechnology Finance experience.Additionally, the candidate will have had prior exposure to similarglobal and highly matrixed/organizational environments (e.g., size, globalscope, structure).
