We’re seeking an FX Client Account Manager, based in our Frankfurt office.

In this role, you will develop and maintain excellent long-term relationships with high value clients. You will provide specialist expertise to clients on bespoke and complex FX payments solutions.

By managing a portfolio of clients, your aim will be to grow the business and to establish longer term relationships & improve client retention.

  • Leverage referrals and sell-on opportunities, providing specialist input to the development of commercially viable, complex Client solutions that meet requirements.

  • Identify key client stakeholders, agree and implement a framework for collaboration, to develop great working relationships and support regular dialogue on matters of mutual benefit (e.g. new business opportunities; performance against SLA’s; issue escalation & resolution).

  • Undertake or facilitate telephone-based transactions where required e.g. spot payments, draw-downs & off-line forwards. Encourage clients to undertake transactions online wherever possible.

  • Provide or facilitate technical support to Middle Office, as required, in relation to more complex transactions.

  • Identify the need for client hedging solutions that align with their Hedging Strategy and/or qualify leads, securing the support of CHM’s for delivery.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience in a similar role, managing client portfolios to grow business, establishing longer term relationships and/or partnership opportunities & improve retention.

  • Specialist expertise in the full range of FX Payments transactions and complex products & services and compliance requirements

  • Skills in the analysis of data sources to support commercial decision making

  • Introduction to Securities & Investment – CISI Foundation Level qualified

  • Investment Advice Diploma/CISI Level 4 qualified or CISI Level 3 qualified and actively working towards the Level 4 qualification.
