We’re seeking a Product Delivery Manager, based in our Johannesburg office. This position is for Partnership Service Delivery with WU digital team. Your role will be to understand agent’s needs, translate them into requirements and work with internal stakeholders to implement them. You will make sure that agents’ platforms are evolving consistently across product areas and provide leadership to all product groups on how to develop our product suite’s web platform to deliver the best user experience to our customers. In this role you will be working closely with other product groups, agents, marketing, regional business teams, customer support teams to understand customer expectations and design effective solution to exceed them. You bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love. The ideal Partnership Service Delivery obsessively seeks to understand the agent / customer’s perspective, is data-driven, has a bias toward action, and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Monitor industry trends to inform product strategy
Based on corporate roadmap, create sprint roadmap. Do research and write user stories aligned with the sprint roadmap
Work closely with other product groups, marketing, regional business teams, customer support teams, legal, compliance and engineering to understand customer expectations and design effective solution to exceed them. You bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love.
Execute the integration of the agents carrying out the project plan within the timelines agreed
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Content, Marketing, and Sales/BD to bring products to market
Champion the goals and vision of the product/project, which inspires team members to do great work despite setbacks and obstacles
Make difficult decisions and sticks by them, helps remove obstacles for the team and keeps projects on schedule.
What you will need to succeed:
Previously worked on front end (web or app) product features in a startup environment or focused department within a large company
Experience working in agile environment - working with front end developers, content writers, UI designers and other stakeholders
Be able to effectively use FE tools ecosystem (Analytics tools, Tag managers, Attribution, AB test tools etc)
Experience in web and mobile analytics a strong plus
Experience in web and web marketing a strong plus
Experience in global money movement a plus
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
MBA is an advantage.
