We’re seeking a Internal Audit Manager to be based in our London office. This position is in charge of planning, designing and executing Internal Audit activities based on the fundamental requirements of Internal Auditing (e.g. the regulations and laws of banking industry, capital markets and financial markets and International Audit Standards). Responsible for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's internal controls and processes/procedures as well as reporting and presenting audit findings and recommendations.

Working closely with Director Internal Audit, Senior Manager Internal Audit and Management of WUBS (Western Union Business Solutions) understands and evaluates business risks. Evaluates compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the development of the Audit Plan and take responsibility for execution / delivering work in line with it.

  • Work as an effective team member by communicating relevant issues and follow through on issues encountered.

  • Collaborate with business partners to balance business strategy with risk management controls.

  • Work closely with the Internal Audit Data Analytics team to develop testing strategies, highlight possible data analytics opportunities and drive efficiencies in testing from the use of data analytics.

  • Perform audit testing and accurately document work papers in Audit’s teammate system.

  • Prepare audit reports, detailing issues identified.

  • Partner with the business to establish remedial measures for issues identified.

  • Work with the business to obtain issue updates and track the ability to meet stated deliverable dates.

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on establishing business risks.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills to succinctly convey results identified.

  • Professional, enthusiastic and results focused individual. Proactive approach, sound judgment and detail oriented.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to positively function within in a team-oriented environment, as well as establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experienced in External/Internal Audit in a financial services, banking or other financial environment, alternatively in financial consulting.

  • CIA, CPA, CIIA, CAMS or other relevant certification are an asset.

  • A recognized University degree or equivalent.

  • Tact and diplomacy as well as ability to understand foreigncultures.
