We’re seeking a Sr Specialist, Business Development based at Lucknow, UP . In this you will be responsible for the development and implementation of network expansion plans for Uttar Pradesh, for both Inbound and Outbound business. Relationship management with India Post especially at the senior levels to drive cash and ABMT business from the network. Identification and negotiations for prospective network partners both in cash payout and Account payout space (banks / payment bank). Account Management and working closely with agent partners to understand the needs of the agent network, facilitate appropriate “Go to Market” strategy of the agent with measure on effectiveness of their business plan & investment. Work along with other functions in the organization to create, implement and promote digital customer journeys for Outbound consumers in India. Run target segment focused go-to-market and promotions to grow Outbound business within the region. Liaising with operations, marketing and other related functions to build programs, facilitate resolutions and drive regional / organizational objectives. Identifying, evaluating and incorporating new business opportunities within the region.

Conduct due diligence through complex analysis andinvestigation of potential and existing Western Union agents using WesternUnion systems as well as reviewing records from public and privatedatabases
Escalate certain cases to Western Union leadership andbusiness partners for review
Assist with special projects as required
Work cross-functionally with teams across theorganization
Build and Maintain effective relationships with key accounts& agents ensuring Western Union objectives of Network and Market Shareare met.
Responsible for achieving Inbound and Outbound businessgoals for the region.
Driving strategic Plan with Bank partners in yourregion for key send corridors to achieve Account Payout goals.
Identify & develop new business opportunities whereWU can participate either directly or thru white label
What you will need to succeed:
9 - 10 years, experience in large network managementorganizations
Preferred experience on cross border remittances bothInbound and Outbound
Experience in managing large institutionalrelationships especially senior level structured relationships (govt /non-govt)
Should have preferably been a part of team or lednegotiations for effective closures
Ability to get things done under tough circumstances.
Experience in managing brands & business whereproduct / service delivery is through third parties

Understanding of payment and digital space, preferablyworking in a bank or a Fintech company
Should be fluent in English (Speak/Read/Write)
Strong relationship management & negotiationskills.
Should have a track record of identifying businessopportunities in payment space
