We’re seeking a Finance Planning Intern, based in our Miami Office (global regional office).
Here are some specifics:
Prepare the presentation material for weekly financials estimate process for the Global Consumer Business
Support the month end close by providing standard reports and analysis
Support the Financial Plan 2020 process
Prepare the time schedule including R&R
Consolidate the bottom up inputs
Variance analysis between bottom up versus top down
Support target setting and track loads compared to targets
Prepare presentation material
Collect investment requests and consolidation
Monitor FTE planning, new hires, moves and related S&B costs
Provide ad hoc reports and analysis
Requirements for the job:
Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student in a post-secondary school, adult education, college or certificate/training program
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint), with a strong desire to master these programs through informal training and self-education
Sound analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills, preferable multilingual
Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Power Point
Experience working in Finance and Accounting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working on an international team
Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships required
Desired /additional skills/capabilities:
Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment
Knowledge in using Essbase/Smart View
Gaining experience in management of the planning process which is one of the most important responsibilities of the finance department
