We’re seeking a ProductManager, based in our Tokyo office. This position will work on WU digital solutions. The manager will define the channel product requirements and stories in alignment with our strategy; have responsibility for both new and existing products and services definitions.

  • Work on product ideas that are focusedon driving sales, acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers,building brand loyalty, and providing self-service tools to customers

  • Assess opportunities by identifying ROI,define key performance indicators and partner with analytics team tomeasure success

  • Understand product alternatives and workwith multi-disciplined team to understand trade-offs and put value onalternatives

  • Define and document productrequirements, features, and functionality

  • Work with UI/UX/Content teams to bringengaging user experiences to life

  • Manage products through the productdevelopment lifecycle

  • Act as product owner in agile process.Lead in-house teams using agile scrum methodology drafting businessrequirements, prioritising features, authoring user stories and acceptancecriteria and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure productfeatures are delivered according to specifications

  • Provide ongoing analysis on producteffectiveness using a data driven approach

  • Coordinate with Go to Market andMarketing teams to leverage relationships, establish best practices formarketing and pricing and collaborate on a unified vision in the mobileand web space

  • Continuously implement and improveanalytics infrastructure to track, monitor, optimise, innovate and reporton acquisition and conversion metrics

  • Work with central teams to getalignment, report updates and build business cases and solutions

  • Manage a team of productanalysts

What you will need tosucceed:

  • 8 plus years of experience building andlaunching consumer applications on web and mobile platforms

  • At least 3 years of product managementexperience in mobile and web technologies

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in,business, or equivalent

  • Ability to break down requirements intoepics and stories

  • Ability to negotiate with computer engineering,UI, UX, Content on the story scope and complexity

  • Experience developing basic wireframesand interaction flows

  • Strong business writing, numericalanalysis and verbal communication skills

  • Get things done attitude;self-motivated, with the ability to “roll-up sleeves” and prioritisecritical deadlines

  • Attention to detail and a penchant forcreating great customer experiences

  • Ability to break down complexexperiences into simple documents, stories, and flows

  • Experience working with multiplestakeholders/teams in different countries with different culturalbackgrounds

  • Ability to work seamlessly with matrixteams, and juggle projects across multiple networks and platforms

  • Experience in mobile and web marketingtools a strong plus

  • Experience working in a large corporateenvironment a plus

  • Experience in global money movement aplus
