Right now, we are seeking:

ApplicationArchitects for Western Union Business Solutions (Montvale, NJ) – Works with Compliance partners to understand and facilitate project requirements. Prepares clear and thorough functional and technical design documents involving applicable use cases and design protocols to ensure clear understanding of development work to deliver related requirements. Utilizes a broad spectrum of technology and innovation to develop software to deliver appropriate solutions. Collaborates with multiple groups including Compliance, technology teams, Operations, test teams, third party vendors, etc. to ensure alignment to requirements and processes to deliver successful solutions. Uses database design and data analytics to ensure system is architected upon a strong foundation of information and to provide feedback to business and operations teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (including Electronic), or related field; and 5 years progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience as a Programmer Analyst, IT Analyst, or related software developer occupation; which must include some experience with developing and implementing web-based solutions; architecture design concepts, object-oriented design, and techniques; logical and physical database architectures and operating systems; Agile and Iterative development methodologies; web technologies (HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript); Web Accessibility; developing rapid prototypes and delivering/supporting production-quality code; Angular TypeScript, JSON and jQuery; .Net, C#, ASP.Net Core; Telerik Kendo UI and JavaScript UI components; Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL Databases (Couchbase and MongoDB); developing SOAP and RESTful APIs; core design patterns; and AWS.
