Right now, we are seeking an Area Sales Executive, workfrom home, in the Central NJ metro area. In this role, you will have an integral role in the Western Union sales organization. The face-to-face role with our agents and customers is the most important part of our overall strategy as we propel growth in a competitive business environment. We are a globally diverse company seeking an experienced sales professional in a key market. The candidate will report to a Regional Director, work from home office, receive transportation allowance, and have all of the equipment necessary to perform all job duties.

  • Responsible forrevenue, transaction and sales growth in assigned territory. This includesgrowth of independent channel sales, new agent activation sales, growth in allproduct categories, brand growth and growth in assigned specific ethniccorridors.

  • Account managementwithin assigned territory and consistent call coverage of all assignedaccounts.

  • Handle assignedspecial projects on a timely basis. Include sales blitzes, operationsproject’s, or brand-specific marketing projects.

  • Build relationshipswith relevant grassroots and community organizations.

  • A commitment togovernment and Western Union compliance policy and procedures as necessary.

  • Weekly businessreports including sales activity, competitive activity, and area highlights arerequired.

  • Must analyze,comprehend, and understand productivity reports is necessary.

  • Candidate must workwithin assigned expense budgets and file required reports.

  • May be assigned selectnew agent target based on specific geographic needs.

  • Overnight travel isoccasionally required for this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or2-3 years of equivalent experience required.

  • Bilingual in Englishand Spanish is highly desired, however, in some territories may be required.

  • Consumer to Businessand Consumer to Consumer Financial Services experience highly desired.

  • Consultative salesexperience highly desired but not required.
