We’re seeking an Senior SystemAnalyst based in our Montvale, New Jersey office .In this role, you will operate as part of an essential team, within the big data group that extrapolates and interprets data for our platform.

  • Performclarification activities:
  1. Ensure that business requirements and problemsare properly understood, translated, documented and communicated.

  2. Liaising with internal & externalstakeholders such as business users, regulators, auditors, federal bodies,business analysts, architects, solution teams etc.

  3. Translate, analyze and document clientrequirements into highly specified project briefs and system requirements forthe selection, implementation, integration, and support of the enterpriseinformation systems.

  4. Guide junior associates and SA teams to do abovetasks

  • PerformSystem analysis and design activities:
  1. Ensure that the requirement analysis and systemsolutions are proper and are meeting the organization's goals and standards.

  2. Analyzing organizations systems and businessmodels, and identify potential solutions for client requirements or problems.Where potential solutions include (but are not limited to): enhancements toexisting systems, development of new systems, designing user interfaces,designing databases, data flows, data dictionaries, alternative or newworkflows, hardware or technology upgrade.

  3. Documenting and communicating the solutionapproach by using suitable tools, techniques, templates, and diagrams.

  • Collaboratein the testing and quality assurance:
  1. Review the testing strategy and scenarios, andrecommend changes.

  2. Communicate with vendors, end-users, softwaredevelopers, testers, network and server administrators, to ensure qualityassurance, program logic or data processing.

  • Otherorganization level duties and responsibilities:
  1. Maintain technical documentation, the datadictionary of all systems at the organization level to support audits, researchand knowledge sharing.

  2. Compile and maintain an inventory of all softwareand system assets, and corresponding contracts and agreements.

What you will need to succeed:

  • At least 5 years of working experience as aSystems Analyst or Business Analyst.

  • Preferred if the work experience was in theFinancial Industry.

  • Knowledge of Financial Industry, Compliance, AML,and KYC is preferred.

  • Bachelor degree or above in technical subjectssuch as computers, electronics, engineering

  • TechnicalSkills

  1. Good knowledge of IT industry processes andpractices

  2. Good hands-on experience in using MS powerpoint,excel, word

  3. Good knowledge of SQL, data querying and dataanalytical skills

  4. Hands on experience in process tools such asJIRA, RALLY etc 5

  5. Experience with HIVE and Hadoop
