We are seeking a Systems Analyst, based at Western Union‘s Montvale, NJ location. Your role will be to understand customer needs, translate them into technical requirements and work with other product owners or directly with engineering to implement them. In this role, you will be working closely with other product groups, regional business teams and support teams to understand customer expectations and design effective solution. You bridge the technical and business worlds as you design applications and services supporting Global Payments Compliance organization. The ideal Systems Analyst seeks to understand the customer’s perspective, is data-driven, has a bias toward action, and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Collect and document technical productrequirements, features, and functionality
Work with regional teams and other stakeholdersto get aligned on product features and functionality
Understand product alternatives and work withmulti-disciplined team to understand trade-offs and put value on alternatives
Work with UI/UX teams on defining anddeveloping engaging user experience
Manage products through the product developmentlifecycle
Be a part of in-house teams using Agile Scrummethodology drafting technical requirements, prioritizing features, authoringuser stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with Scrum team membersto ensure product features are delivered according to specifications
Provide ongoing analysis on producteffectiveness using a data driven approach
What you will need to succeed:
BA/BS in Business Administration or ComputerScience or equivalent practical experience
Strong business writing, numerical analysis andverbal communication skills
Experience working with multiplestakeholders/teams in different geographies
At least 3 years of product experience with Webtechnologies
Ability to navigate data structures acrossmultiple database using SQL
Experience with Agile tools is preferred
Ability to break down requirements into epicsand stories, grooming and elaboration of stories
Attention to detail and a desire for creatinggreat customer experiences
Experience developing basic wireframes andinteraction flows
Understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML)regulations within the banking/financial services Industry
