Right now, we are looking for a Senior IT Manager, PMO Lead based at Western Union’s Montvale,NJ office.
In this role, you will be the leader of a regionally diverse PMO project team embedded within our MTSE. You’ll be the team’s Agile advocate and translator by assisting with our adoption and standardization of Agile SCRUM methodology on all project teams as we migrate from Waterfall methodology.

Lead an experienced PMO team to meet WU business prioritiesand best practices by managing procurement, career development, coaching, advising,and mentoring of the entire team
Lead the complete migration from Waterfall to Agile Scrummethodology and act as a general advisor and subject-matter-expert with the team
Facilitate identification of timelines, dashboards, successmetrics, and financial scorecards for the entire book of work across theengineering portfolio.
Manage project resources including procuring project staff,developing, motivating, coaching and advising leads and teams to ensurebest-practice adoption
Ensure inputs and delivery acrosstransformation of PMO strategy and alignment into centralized governance acrossenterprise organization
Manage book of work and deliveryschedules across PMO Experience with Project Portfolio Management tool(Jira/Confluence/Clarizen)
Track and hold team accountable tomeet overall performance metrics, quarterly reviews, value assurance, andcapitalization targets through regular reporting and communication vehicles
Ensure all technology applicationdevelopment process disciplines (solution delivery, project management, workrequests, QA, etc.) are followed, effectively managed and performed
Cooperates with governance todevelop and mature processes and tools
What you will need to succeed:
6+ years proven project/program management experiencein IT/Finance/PMO BA preferred, including leading otherproject managers
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computerscience, computer engineering or related field preferred. MBA or other relatedadvanced degree would be considered a plus.
Agile, PMP, ITIL and CSM certifications preferred
Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes includingScrum Framework, Lean and Scaled Agile Framework
Must have comprehensiveunderstanding of vast system landscape and ability to translate technologydeliveries into meaningful business objectives
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and towork well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principlesto technology applications/products and business functions
Strong ability to translatecomplex technicalinformation to product stakeholders while alsosynthesizing product stakeholder’s needs to technical teams.
Experience delivering technology and business applicationsolutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment;Experience with modern and legacy technologies is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercisingjudgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Must be able to clearly communicate goals, responsibilities,performance, expectations, and feedback.
Must be able to negotiate and use persuasion when necessaryto ensure the success of the team and the project
Must be able to inspire individual and team achievements bycreating explicit guidelines for accomplishing results and for careeradvancement of team members
Practical knowledge and enforcement of SDLC and ITILprocess and policies
