We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team i n Montvale, New Jersey.

Senior Systems Analysts are part of the Western Union Go-Tech organization driving the functional design and business logic of the enterprise class systems that power Western Union. This role works across the IT organization and with business partners to analyze requirements and translate them to system solutions that drive value through business process simplification, automation and new product capabilities. You will play a key role in designing systems that are the engine behind Western Union.

  • Ensure thatbusiness requirements and problems are properly understood, translated,documented and communicated.

  • Liaising with internal& external stakeholders such as business users, regulators, auditors,federal bodies, business analysts, architects, solution teams etc.

  • Translate, analyzeand document requirements into highly specified system requirements forimplementation, integration, and support of the enterprise informationsystems.

  • Ensure that therequirement analysis and system solutions are proper and are meetingorganization's goals and standards.

  • Analyzingorganizations systems and business models and identify potential solutionsfor requirements or problems. Where potential solutions include (but arenot limited to): enhancements to existing systems, development of newsystems, designing user interfaces, designing databases, data flows, datadictionaries, alternative or new workflows, hardware or technologyupgrade.

  • Documenting andcommunicating solution approach by using suitable tools, techniques,templates and diagrams.

  • Collaborate in thetesting and quality assurance by reviewing test strategy and scenarios,communicating with vendors, software developers, testers, network andserver administrators, to ensure quality assurance.

  • Maintain technicaldocumentation and data dictionaries to support to support audits, researchand knowledge sharing.

  • Guide juniorassociates and SA teams to do above tasks.

What you will need tosucceed:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree inComputer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or related field

  • Have excellent program-solvingand analytical skills

  • Have 7+ Years of softwaredevelopment, business analysis or systems analysis experience in web-basedapplications/technologies

  • Have strong communicationskills both oral and written

  • Have a passion for technologyand the ability to quickly learn a new business domain

  • Have experience in a programminglanguage

  • Have experience with Agilesoftware development practices and tools

  • Possess strong system modelingskills (UML, data structures)

  • Have experience with softwaredevelopment life-cycle tools like Jira and Confluence

  • Possess cloud-based softwaredevelopment skills using AWS/Azure

  • Have experience with designingsolutions for POS systems
