Rightnow, we are seeking a Jr. Business Development Manager in NYC . Approaching and liaising with business prospects on behalf of Western Union Business Solutions to attract and maintain new clients. The successful candidate will proactively influence business decision makers by promoting the benefits of our industry leading risk management tools and payment solutions. The key objective of the role is to secure sustainable, profitable trading relationships.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly andannual revenue targets

  • Engage with financial decisionmakers of 5-50 million USD sales turnover companies to close desirable business

  • Position WUBS’ broad product base totargeted business markets. Products: FX Options, E-Platforms and marketspecialists

  • Continually maintain an effectiveunderstanding of the FX market and broader business/economic landscape toenhance sales effectiveness

  • Record all client/prospectcommunication on SFDC ensuring that all details are up to date

  • Independently manage leads throughthe entire sales process

  • Perform to specific KPI’s set byWUBS

  • As required proactively cold calland prospect in assigned segment(s)

  • Autonomously identify and engageinternal & external resources to deliver solutions and bring newclients on board

  • Leverage relevant stakeholders andmanagement to close sales opportunities

  • Complete necessary businessadministration and reporting as required by management and the business

  • Support the Senior members of theteam as required in a protégé capacity

  • Adept in negotiating atexecutive corporate level to achieve set objectives.

  • Ability to swiftlyidentify opportunities and professionally manage and guide the end to end salesprocess.

  • Ability to ask probingquestions to understand the needs of a prospect with the skill to appropriatelysuggest dynamic solutions.

  • High degree ofprofessionalism, with a confident, assertive style.

  • Highly motivated with anexceptionally strong desire and drive to succeed.

  • Ability to workautonomously with a high level of tenacity.

What will make you standout :

  • Minimum of 1 years’experience in business to business sales preferably within the deliverable FXbank or non-banking sector.

  • Educated to collegedegree level or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent communication/presentationskills across all media.

  • Effective timemanagement skills and commitment to work to strict deadlines.

  • Solid computer skillswith competency in the use of MS Office, web conferencing tools and Internetsearch engines.
