We’re currently seeking a Customer Service Representative, based in our Collections team in the Peterborough office. In this role you will be working closely with internal departments and external clients, chasing and recovering funds owed against transactions booked which are now classified as bad debt. You will work with colleagues, monitoring potential and actual debt to the company, liaising with customers for resolution, and will be responsible for reporting and escalating issues relating to outstanding funds and actions taken.

  • Highlight potential issues with the recovery of funds owed to Western Union Investment Bank

  • Produce weekly reports of outstanding transactions

  • Maintain records of actions taken, chase clients within agreed timescales

  • Work with internal departments to ensure accurate information is provided to clients and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Produce Management Information reports, maintain Salesforce (database) and collections log, and monitor and look for trends in recurrent errors

What you will need to succeed:

  • Fluency in French

  • Passionate to provide top tier customer support both internally and externally

  • Strong Excel, numeracy and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Build and maintain supportive relationships with key business contacts to include the forging of relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally

  • Ability to manage a varied workload and to prioritise are essential

  • Willingness to learn and can-do attitude

  • Effective time management skills and ability to influence others to a desired outcome
