Here at Western Union we are looking for a Sales Executive to join our Demand Generation team in Peterborough. In this role, you will join an experienced sales team to work from our database to call potential clients. Through questioning and discussion you will fully establish their foreign exchange processes and needs and raise awareness of their current issues and future consequences, then go on to arrange meetings for our sales management team.

  • Responsible for generating and qualifying leads through high volume of outbound calls to potential client

  • Identify client needs and set-up meetings for our business development team to provide the ideal solution

  • Work closely with our experienced Sales team to understand the market and ensure that effective working relationships are maintained, understanding their challenges and identifying areas for continuous improvement

  • Accurately update, maintain data and records, and ensure they are followed through in accordance with departmental procedures and SLA's

What you will need to succeed:

  • You don’t need to have a Sales background but you will need to be positive, energetic and driven by achieving daily, weekly, monthly and annual targets

  • A strong interest in business and desire to be successful in personal, team and company success.

  • Strong relationship management skills to provide a first-class service to both internal and external customers
