We’re seekingan Associate, Solution Engineering based in our Pune, India office. In this role, you will be developing and supporting Customer Care (CARE) Data Warehouse for Western Union. You will work on projects involving data Analysis, running simulation, impact assessments & reporting. You will be responsible for understanding business requirement specifications & impact assessment to implement ETL or DB solutions for the warehouse.

Developand implement new software, maintain and improve existing software
Ensurethat software functionality is implemented with a with a focus on codeoptimization and organization Recommend improvements to existing softwareprograms
Troubleshootapplication issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional,and technical teams Work with a software development team and Service providersin a geographically distributed structure
Providecoaching to Junior Associates and Associates Works independently on complexprojects
Whatyou will need to succeed:
B.E. /B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
2-4years of software development experience
Mustbe a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficulttechnology challenges, with a can-do attitude
Experiencein developing and implementing web based solutions Knowledge of architecturedesign concepts, object oriented design and techniques
Knowledgeof logical and physical database architectures and operating systems
Self-starterwith ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistentlydeliver results
Experiencein Agile and Iterative development methodologies
Strongcommunication skills with ability to interact with partners globally
Technical Area of Expertise:
Experience in financial services and businesspractices
Extensive experience in business intelligenceand data analytics programs
Extensive background in data modeling and dataarchitecture for business analytics
Extensive experience in capture of businessreporting requirements and design/development of reports. Experience inmanaging federated data models, including dispersed and duplicated data sets
Extensive experience in Extract-Transform-Load(ETL) script development and tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend) Experience in SQL(procedural and declarative) development Strong background in data warehouseschema design and dimensional data management (e.g. Star-Schema,Federated-Model, etc.)
(Good to have) Experience in big datatechnologies (Hadoop, Spark, Map-Reduce, CouchDB, etc.)
(desired) Operational data-store schema design(e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
Experience in AWS technologies
