We’re seeking a Manager Technical Product Support based in our Pune, India office . In this role, you will be responsible you will be responsible for developing the product vision and strategy for the online channel and managing the entire product life cycle for Web and Mobile. You will work directly with external and internal teams and partners to plan, coordinate, and execute various technical activities related to the development and integration of Western Union Money Transfer services with various payments processors and third party systems. You will ensure that WU has best-in-class mobile and web solutions, which provides best customer experience, while achieving the success metrics.

  • Lead functional analysis of new products and services for WU digital channels and create detailed functional specifications

  • Understand business requirements and propose solutions that meet the business objectives and goals

  • Be tasked with "thinking out of the box" and creating clear recommendations, options, alternatives

  • Overlook end to end product life cycle including post-implementation monitoring

  • Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, while providing the customer a common user experience across external partners

  • Provide the developers, QA etc. with specifications and requirements to be developed

  • Assist in the implementation of software upgrades and patches, support QA and integration

  • Be the subject matter expert in functional and technical domain of the product

  • Gain and retain broad technical/functional knowledge of Western Union web service offerings

  • Work within the technical team to evaluate/enhance/document new and existing processes

What you will need to succeed:

  • Must have 5+ years ofrelevant experience

  • Proven experience in designing, delivering, and managing programs in a B2B2C environment for digital services

  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues and drive resolution with cross functional teams

  • Strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions

  • Ability to roll with changes in a dynamic work environment, shaping changes into opportunities

  • Understanding of Java, XML and web service methodologies such as SOAP, REST, JSON is a must and understanding of the .NET framework will be useful

  • Knowledge of common web-platforms such as Apache, IIS, JBOSS, WebLogic, WebSphere will be a big plus

  • Good understanding of networking and communication protocols

  • Excellent relationship building, leadership, and team management skills and the ability to create passion, energy and commitment among diverse groups and team members

  • Must speak and write English fluently, additional languages are a plus
