We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Payments supporting Western Union (WU) Digital based in our Pune, India office .This role contributes to the success of WU Digital Payment Products by reviewing complex business processes, recommending improvements to support business activities, and documenting business requirements and process flows.

  • The position will work closely with variousdepartments and vendors to maintain best in class customer experience andresolve escalated issues. In addition, this role will oversee the exceptionprocessing and drive optimization in the WU Digital product offering.

  • Job Responsibilities Monitor metrics, trends,exceptions, and customer escalations.

  • Picks up exceptions and ensures resolutionwith various internal specialists.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop actionplans for resolution.

  • Works closely with internal audit andstakeholders to conduct reviews to ensure controls are maintained and SLA’s areachieved

  • Ensure functional testing and proper processesare in place to minimize exceptions

  • Follow up on projects, monitor progress andadjust workflow accordingly

  • Provide accurate and timely communication tostakeholders

  • Conduct interviews, gather current business,technical, and functional processes and thoroughly document existing businessprocesses

  • Support new product launches with detailed andregular communication to stakeholders Minimum Educational &Experience

Whatyou will need to succeed:

  • Undergraduate degree in business

  • 3-5 years of financial industry experience

  • 3-5 years of business and/or system analysis

  • Proficient with Microsoft products

  • Ability to create presentations and processflows

  • Advanced skills building and running databasequeries

  • Experience in an Agile environment

  • Experience in global payments e-commerce role,required focus on customer-not-present, preferred experience as a merchant orbanking institution

  • Good understanding of the business processesand knowledge of the banking products and distribution channels

  • Experience managing and optimizing exceptionflows in the customer flow

  • Deep understanding of ACH and settlement
