We’re seeking a Senior Associate, SolutionEngineering based in our Pune, India office . In this role, you will be responsible to lead key business critical projects in the capacity of a Data Architect and Advisor. Define Data Architecture standards, best practices and participate in governance activities.

Lead key dataarchitecture & data management initiatives
Review businessrequirements and technical design documents to develop effective data anddatabase solutions
Models forvarious company projects using relational theory, NOSQL and dimensional modeling,align them to Enterprise Architecture
Provide insightinto logical business data requirement to work with DBAs to support physicaldata model considerations
Influenceprojects/initiatives and drive decisions related to data including data quality,data architecture, and data management best practices
Develop standardsfor database design and implementation of various strategic data architectureinitiatives around master data management, data quality, data managementpolicies/standards, data governance and metadata management
Serve as anadvocate for the data architecture team and data management discipline,policies and standards across the enterprise
Troubleshootissues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technicalteams
Work with asoftware development team and Service providers in a geographically distributedstructure
Provide coachingto Junior Associates and Associates
Worksindependently on complex projects
What you willneed to succeed:
B.E. / B.Tech. /MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
8-12 years ofDatabase development experience
Knowledge oflogical and physical database architectures and operating systems
Experience inAgile and Iterative development methodologies
Financialtransaction systems experience
Strongcommunication skills with ability to interact with partners globally
Technical areasof expertise:
Databaseapplication developer with extensive Database design experience in businessevent-driven transactions
Create, maintainand define Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data.
Should be able towrite stored procedures.
Should beevaluating queries for performance.
Provide expertdata modeling and data validation services that produce flexible extensibledata structure design solutions that support effective business decisions.
Set bestpractices for data design, query design.
Define, maintainand adhere to enterprise modeling standards.
Experiences withfull stack Database development (DB2, MS SQL , MySQL, NoSQL ,Oracle, MongoDB)
Should be able totroubleshoot database environment issues and work with DB2 teams to addressdatabase environment issues.
Develop ETLspecification and document data migration mapping's and transformations fordata warehouse loading.
Map entities touse cases and business requirements and assist in the development of dataservices.
Create and managean array of data design deliverables including data models, data diagrams, dataflows and corresponding data dictionary documentation.
Highly competentwith relational database design and structured query language.
Highly competentwith data modeling using industry leading tools.
Assist indetermining the effectiveness of existing technologies and processes inrelation to the data architecture, create necessary implementation/migrationplans and recommend new solutions as required.
Strong technicalunderstanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles andtechniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data.
Database schema design(e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
Code control(e.g. GIT) and PowerShell skills
Codeconfiguration management (e.g. Subversion)
SQL proceduralprogramming experience
DB administrationand schema management experience
Ensuring highavailability of the application for the business users and Self-service users.
Monitoring ServerPerformance and activity.
Design thelogging strategies based on criticality of the environments.
Provide valuableinput to the team by collecting costly SQL, locking SQL’s.
Generating explainplans and provide recommendations for long running SQL’s
Providing Supportfor application developers by providing SQL, testing SQL’s, troubleshootingapplication problems.
Develop/maintainthe stored procedures, functions and triggers.
Lead the databaserelease activities and troubleshoot to fix any runtime issues.
Knowledge ondatabase replication strategies
Involved inCreation & manipulation of Database objects.
