We’re seeking a Solution Architect, Solution Engineering based inour Pune, India office. In this role, you will be developing and supporting the AML Compliance IT Solutions for Western Union. You will work on projects involving the entire software development cycle, from interpreting and facilitating requirements, architecting and designing the solution using industry best practices, developing software and supporting production deployments.

Preparesclear and thorough technical design documents involving applicable use casesand design protocols to ensure clear understanding of development work todeliver related requirements
IdentifiesSystem, Infrastructure and Project interdependencies and balances demand toensure project deliverables are achieved within the agreed architecture
Selectsdesign standards, methods and tools that are consistent with agreed enterpriseand solution architecture and ensures selection of appropriate technology,efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology
Buildsoftware that is optimized, well organized and maintainable. Enforce anddeliver common framework architecture and high-level design within the team.Focus on introducing innovative engineering practices, tools and technologiesto continuously improve the quality of the system and optimize efforts ·Reviews the design specification produced by other team members and providestechnical leadership to the teams and guide them in resolving complex technicalproblems
Providesinputs to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in thedevelopment of the future state architecture and maximize the return ontechnology investment
Collaborateswith multiple groups including business, IT, Operation and QA teams includingthird party vendors, etc. to ensure alignment to requirements and processes todeliver successful solutions
Becomesthe central point of ownership for the end to end system, designs solutions forthe functional areas, and innovatively solves any problems
What we require:
B.E./ B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
10 to12 years of experience in Software Engineering and Architecture in a fast-pacedcorporate environment
Strongwritten and verbal communication skills including demonstration of writtenfunctional specifications and technical designs, development of processes andprocedures, and the ability to interact with partners globally.
Strongapplication development skills, with the ability to implement and oversee bestcoding practices
Abilityto interact with cross-functional teams and lead them based on their functionalareas of responsibility Excellentknowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design and technique
Excellentknowledge of database architectures and operating systems
StrongData Modelling skills
Excellentunderstanding of various development methodologies including; TraditionalWaterfall and Agile Development and associated tools; experience in Agiletransformation journey would be an added advantage · Experience is implementingDevOps and exposure to all DevOps areas like Source Control, ContinuousIntegration, Infra Automation,Continuous Deployment and Cloud is must
Self-starterwith ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistentlydeliver results
Stronganalytical and logical skills and attention to detail
Technical Area of Expertise
Experience in Big Data technologieslikeHadoop · Java .Net,C#, ASP.Net Core· SOA and Micro-services
Experience in Hive, Spark, Impala
Experience in developingapplications in Cloud,AWS– Specific to Big Data
Strong RDBMS experience, IBM DB2 isa plus
Experience in NoSQL databases,Couchbase is a plus
