We’re seeking a Security Manager based in our Manila,Philippines office . In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the South-East Asia regional strategic planning and coordination of the security function aligned with the organization’s overall objectives. You will be accountable for implementing the organization’s international investigative programs and strategies as well as implementing the policies, procedures and systems required to maintain and enhance the international organizational investigative mission. This will include overseeing the planning and conducting complex investigative operations, both internal and external, and briefing senior and executive management on the status of these investigations.

  • You will developand document standards for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness ofinternational investigative operations. You will also be responsible tomaintain expert knowledge of specific requirements imposed by foreigngovernment agencies, consulting with other members of the security function, aswell as consulting with operational unit and field personnel.

  • You will berequired to maintain close relationships with all levels of law enforcement,intelligence and private sector counterparts to include in-country security andinternational security agencies.

  • You will alsoparticipate in creating and maintaining a safe and secure workplace in WesternUnion facilities worldwide and you will assist with conducting physicalsecurity surveys on Western Union facilities; participate in executiveprotection and event security and participate in Western Union CrisisManagement program.

  • Develop,implement, and manage the South-East Asia regional strategic planning andcoordination of the security function aligned with the organization’s overallobjectives.

  • Accountablefor implementing the organization’s international investigative programs andstrategies.

  • Implementsthe policies, procedures and systems required to maintain and enhance theinternational organizational investigative mission. Interprets and applieslaws, orders, rule and regulations pertaining to international investigations.

  • Overseesplanning and conducts complex investigative operations, both internal andexternal, and briefs senior and executive management on the status of theseinvestigations.

  • Assistswith conducting physical security surveys on Western Union facilities.

  • Participatesin executive protection, advance protective surveys and event security.

  • Participatesin Western Union Crisis Management program.

What you willneed to succeed:

  • Minimum 10 years’experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sectorsecurity organization

  • Demonstratedexperience and exposure in the international security area

  • Stronginvestigative instincts along with a background in financial crimesinvestigations

  • Demonstratedability to manage operational budgets and develop an understanding of the moneytransfer systems. Experience presenting to large audiences on fraud orinvestigations a plus

  • English languagefluency is a necessity and Tagalog language ability preferred

  • Court roomtestimony experience is a plus
