We are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect, that is a data visionary with significant experience in enterprise architecture to steer the vision, direction & design of next gen platforms that will be the foundation at WU for years to come. The person must be a recognized subject matter expert with strong information & data focus and be able to effectively communicate across layers, influencing strategy, laying the enterprise architectural framework, and guiding the design and development of functional, technical architecture for WU next gen solutions.

Define foundational enterprisedata architecture vision, direction and roadmap working hand in hand withapplication architects and in the context of complex enterprise widetransformational programs
Review, Identify, define,analyze and present data architecture, options & solutions optimizingcloud native, custom and vendor solutions to meet business objectivesaround consolidation & transformation
Define & ensure adoption appropriatestandards & guidelines are laid out outlining data practices includingdata modeling, taxonomy, data flows in support of overarching enterprisebusiness process
Conduct proof of concepts,drive technology & product selection, support pilot implementationsand support enterprise wide adoption of data, data analytics process &toolsets
Work across a wide range ofstakeholders, application subject matter experts, architects, technologyand business leaders to harness perspectives, influence & driveconsistent data practices
Participate as member of enterprisearchitecture review board and steer data driven efforts & metricsaround enterprise adoption
Keep current and maintaininternal and external presence as a subject matter expert aroundenterprise wide data practices for a fast moving and evolving industrysegment
What you will need tosucceed:
15+ years of relevant IT &data delivery & leadership experience
At least 3 years of experiencein leading architectural efforts in complex data environments &transformational programs
At least 3-6 years ofexperience in large scale application & data design, development, andintegration with cloud as a focus
Significant experience indefining, influencing and successfully evangelizing conceptual, logicaland technical data architecture and transformational roadmap
Strong Experience with cloud& hybrid cloud implementations
Experience and expertise withdata modeling tools, data extraction, transformation and analytics, datavisualization tools and enabling these in cloud microservices eco-system
Experience with implementation/deliveryof RESTful APIs and microservices
Experience building service-orientedarchitectures using event driven architectures and a fluency in event-basedintegration patterns
Experience in Customer DataManagement or Master Data Management (MDM)
Experience working with a teamof architects, technical leads to define and drive adoption and ensuringalignment through effective participation at Architecture Review Boards
Knowledge of FinancialTechnologies: PSD2, OpenBanking, SEPA, IFX, Payments, Fraud, KYC, etc
Excellent at communicating anddriving highly complex IT solutions across all layers - executives,business leaders, product managers, privacy, compliance, internal &external audit and delivery teams
Togaf or equivalent enterprise architecturecertification desired
4 year Bachelor's Degree incomputer science or equivalent or relevant work experience
