Right now, we are seeking a Hybrid Mobile Developer , based at Western Union’s Digital headquarters in San Francisco, California. Mobile web engineer are part of the Western Union Go-Tech organization designing, building, enhancing and supporting the enterprise class systems that power Western Union. This role works closely with product management group to design and develop hybrid mobile applications supporting iOS and Android platforms.

Thisposition is responsible for development and maintenance of Hybrid mobileapplications
Thecandidate must have demonstrated experience in the front-end developmentlifecycle, including user interface design, html development across differentform-factors and devices
Developexceptional customer experiences using latest technologies
Thecandidate will partner with product management and create prototypes totest new features or entirely new applications on current and futureonline platforms
Thecandidate will be responsible for documenting design
Thecandidate will train and mentor junior members of development team
Thecandidate will be responsible to communicate with offshore developmentteams and perform design/code reviews
What you will need to succeed:
ABachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) ispreferred
3+ yearsof developing web portals and eCommerce is required.
1.5+ yearsof developing mobile web applications/Hybrid apps across devices
Strongunderstanding of iOS, Android operating platforms
Strongexperience in AngularJS Framework
Experiencewith mobile IDEs and Hybrid app development (preferably using Cordova)
Understandingof various development methodologies, including: Traditional Waterfall andIterative Development Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
Strongproblem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues
Communication,negotiation and facilitation skills are required
