Right now, we are seeking a Manager, Product Management based at Western Union’s Digital Headquarters location in San Francisco, California (near AT&T Park).

In this role, you will deliver upon advancing WU Mobile and Web Solutions. You’ll be the champion of the customer, leading product groups on how to develop WU’s product suite in order to deliver the best user experience imaginable. You’ll be a cross-functional enabler, supporter, and liaison between the technical and business worlds as you design services that users love. You will assist in the examination of new market opportunities through investigation to identify potential product offerings and other opportunities that could drive new growth sources. Be prepared to ensure that we have the best-in-class mobile and web solutions with the providing the best possible customer experience.

The ideal Product Manager obsessively seeks to understand the customer’s perspective, is data-driven, has a bias toward action, and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. If you want to succeed, we recommend experience in both upstream product and service definition and downstream product development and execution.

  • Manage products throughthe product development lifecycle by leading in-house teams using Agile Scrummethodology drafting business requirements, prioritizing features, authoringuser stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team membersto ensure product features are delivered according to specifications

  • Work on product ideasthat are focused on driving sales, acquiring new customers, retaining existingcustomers, building brand loyalty, and providing self-service tools tocustomers

  • Define and documentproduct requirements, features, and functionality

  • Work with UI/UX/Contentteams to bring engaging user experiences to life

  • Assess opportunities byidentifying ROI, define key performance indicators and partner with analyticsteam to measure success

  • Provide ongoing analysison product effectiveness using a data driven approach

  • Coordinate with WUmarketing professionals to leverage relationships, establish best practices formarketing and advertising and collaborate on a unified WU vision in the mobileand web space

  • Continuously implementand improve analytics infrastructure to track, monitor, optimize, innovate andreport on acquisition and conversion metrics

  • Collaborate withregional teams to get alignment, report updates and build business cases,solutions etc.

  • Manage a team of productanalysts and specialists

What you will need tosucceed:

  • We recommend at least 7years of experience for a web and/or mobile software products (B2B or B2C -cloud experience a plus) including 3 years of experience as a Product Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degreerequired and a Master's Degree and/or technical certifications such as PO are aplus

  • Ability to break downrequirements into epics and stories, grooming and elaboration of stories whilealso able to break down complex experiences into simple documents, stories, andflows

  • Experience developingbasic wireframes and interaction flows

  • Ability to negotiatewith engineering, UI, UX, Content on the story scope, complexity etc.

  • Ability to effectivelycommunicate business requirements with effective business writing, numericalanalysis, and verbal communication

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational andanalytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written& verbal) skills

  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability toachieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment

  • Get things done attitude; Self-motivated, with theability to “roll-up sleeves” and prioritize
