Right now, we are seeking a Project Manager | Scrum Master based at Western Union’s Digital Headquarters in San Francisco, California.

In this role, you will manage a project or small set of projects during all phases of the project cyclewith responsibilities that include project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.   You will Scrum Master for 1-2 teams.

  • Develop, track and manage project milestones, project plans, timelinesand scope 

  • Facilitate identification of timelines, dashboards, success metrics, andfinancial scorecards for each initiative 

  • Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing,motivating, coaching and advising 

  • Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality softwaresolutions that meet business needs 

  • Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before UserAcceptance Testing 

  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming andmaintaining the product backlog

  • Guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left inthe Agile/Scrum frameworks and adhere to principle of continuous improvement

  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership stylewhenever possible and leading by example

What you will need tosucceed:

  • Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s or more Advanced degreein a technical field such as computer science,computer engineering or related field preferred

  • 2+years of experience in project management preferred

  • 2+ years of experienceas a SCRUM Master preferred

  • Agile, PMP, andCSM certifications preferred

  • Strong familiarity inworking in an Agile environment and experience leading multiple ScrumTeams

  • Demonstrated ability tobe flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment
