Right now, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance based at Western Union’s Digital headquarters in San Francisco, California.

Responsible for the $430M Digital P&L which is integrated in the regional P&Ls
Coordinates with the regional Finance teams for the annual GMT Digital financial plan and the associated budgeting, forecasting and R&O processes; key contributor to the GMT Digital strategic planning process, including the LRF and financial analysis of long-term investments
Manages ongoing reporting cycle to ensure routine dissemination of business performance and discussion of results with GMT
Digital management Partners with GMT Digital & Regional leaders to support key business decisions; define clear leading indicator drivers of financial outcomes
Owns the management / financial tracking related to GMT Digital pricing investments and strategic investments; maintains an up-to-date workforce plan
Supports effort to reduce commission rates, bank fees and other distribution costs; accountable for driving productivity efforts and minimizing agent losses
Aligns to GMT Digital business priorities (e.g. new business efforts, org. changes, work-force planning, zero-based budgeting, product/channel cost attribution, etc.)
Codifies know-how and ways of working, ensuring consistency and accountability in adherence to defined policies and practices, reducing exceptions and variation
Focuses on continuous end-to-end process improvement for areas of accountability
What you will need to succeed:
Minimum 7 - 10 years of relevant finance experience.
A Bachelors’ Degree is required; an MBA degree is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have relevant Financial Services industry experience (e.g., cross-border payments, foreign exchange products) and will have had prior exposure to similar global and highly matrixed/organizational environments (e.g., size, global scope, structure), as well as broad experience in, or knowledge of, other CFO functions.
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess:
High degree of financial acumen, understanding of impacts on financial statements, links with accounting, tax, treasury, etc.
An understanding of the company’s value delivery chain with the customer in mind and is able to build efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
Strong financial and strategic aptitude and proven track record of successfully leading a project from start to finish.
Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully across the organization
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively motivate a team and partner with cross functional teams and senior management.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence others
Self-starter, willingness to accept challenges, will take the lead and execute
