We’re seeking an Application Support Engineer based in our SantaAna, Costa Rica office . In this role you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, administering, and supporting the information technology needed to keep the Corporate Treasury functions fully operational.

  • Main responsibilities wouldinclude operating the daily Treasury reporting process, applicationsupport for Treasury applications, administration of Treasuryapplications, and administration 3rd party banking sites.

  • Responsible for daily bank reporting process, including theadherence to multiple SLAs throughout each day

  • Treasury system administration and maintenance including dataadministration, reporting and security

  • Participation in system upgrades, troubleshooting, training,security control and modifications to existing services

  • Troubleshooting application functional issues and coordinationissue resolution with development, technical and operations teams

  • Participation in analysis, planning and implementing of processimprovements, automations and new system implementations

  • Responsibility for implementation and administration of Swiftinterface

  • Technical implementation of contingency planning for WU Treasuryincluding working with IT to set up new users with VPN access andtroubleshooting remote connectivity issues as well as working with Treasurystaff on monthly contingency maintenance and contingency testing

  • Consulting with Treasury management and staff on technical needsand requirements and giving guidance on technical trends in Treasury CashManagement

  • Creation and maintenance of documentation on current and newprocedures and providing training on documented processes.

What you will need tosucceed:

  • 1-3 years application support or trouble-shooting experience

  • 3-5 years of information technology experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Orally andwritten (Business writing skills in English and Spanish) B2+ (75% minimum).

  • Excellent problem-solving,organizational and analytical skills

  • UNIX/Linux System Admin experience

  • Ability to maintain a high level of communication, prioritizemultiple tasks and ability to multi-task.

  • Basic level of programming knowledge in one or more of; JAVA,Apache Camel, Python, Perl or XML
