Better requiresprocess discipline and simplification
We’ll be looking to you to undertake a key position in ensuring Western Union’s preparations and readiness for new General Data Protection Regulation. You’ll be part of the Decision Sciences team responsible for managing fraud losses while optimizing revenue opportunities for Western Union digital transactions and mentoring junior decision scientists. You will be the strategic organizational leader driving our future direction on Risk Analytics and Modeling in collaboration with the Product Management Team and Risk Engineering Team. Representing the Decision Sciences team, you’ll make a difference by conducting ad-hoc/exploratory analysis and providing accurate results in response to internal and external requests.
To succeed in such a pivotal role, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree or MBA, and 5+ years of experience in Fraud and Risk across payment, e-commerce, digital or financial services industries. Proven experience as People Manager is also key to succeed. You will need to be an English proficient speaker as well as to have strong knowledge in SQL and in a Unix Linux environment for automating processes with shell scripting. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
