Right now, we are seeking a Director, Accounting based in Santa Ana, Costa Rica where you will manage the planning and directions of departmental activities related to Accounts Payable, Operational and General Accounting functions and preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results.

  • LeadingAccounting Operations teams supporting Accounts Payable (AP), TransactionAdjustments and GL functions

  • Ensuringand developing a robust and appropriate control environment

  • Beresponsible for ensuring accounting process are in line with businessgrowth initiatives and product expansions

  • GlobalFocus on other process improvements, striving to be as effective andefficient as possible with the attention on the customer experience valuestream

  • Strongrelationship and business partnering skills with customer centricityapproach in mind

  • Leadershipin supporting companywide business initiatives though collaborating withbusiness partners and stockholders

  • Supervising,coaching, mentoring and motivating the accounting team

  • Applycriteria to identify and solve problems in complex situations

What you will need to succeed:

  • Accounting/ Finance degree required

  • 10years related work experience in accounting department, preferably workingwith outsourced accounting services

  • 7years leadership experience with a strong record of managerial andinterpersonal skills

  • Excellentcustomer service skills and ability to instill this skill andunderstanding throughout the organization

  • Desireto be part of a Global Team and partner with colleagues in other parts ofthe world to improve business processes and drive shareholder value

  • C1+(83%) English level as a minimum; outstanding oral, written, and listeningskills to communicate effectively in English and Spanish at alllevels

  • Strongdecision making, problem solving and conflict management skills

  • Sometravel may be required
