We’re seeking an Associate,AML Compliance ( GPES Ops – Global Payments and Entity Screening Operations ), based in our Santa Ana office . In this role, you will provide AML Compliance support to agents of Western Union and its affiliates in order to build programs that are in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and other anti -money laundering laws as they apply to Money Services Businesses.

This position has the responsibility for providing Support for Customers, Agents and/or Service Associates, performing high complexity duties, with high level of technical/business knowledge related with Western Union compliance programs.

Associate AML day to day activity is related to the money transfers where further investigation is needed by specialist over the phone/e-mail or other off-line used applications.

Main function is analysis of cases ensuring compliance policies are followed, whether online or offline Due diligent checks evaluating the purpose of the case Customer support.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Englishlevel: B2 (75%) minimum.

  • High School degree orequivalent.

  • Able to focus inachieving operational metrics on daily and monthly basis.

  • Multitasking.

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.

  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Fastlearner, willing to embrace new processes as a result of evolving policiesand procedures.

  • Capableof identifying and improving areas of opportunity detected on the existingprocesses.

  • Schedule Flexibility mayinclude weekends.

  • CustomerService oriented.

  • Experience analyzing,interpreting, and presenting quantitative and qualitative research and data,preferably related to customer experience.
