We’re seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, based in ourSingapore office. In this role, you will approach and liaise with business prospects on behalf of Western Union to attract and maintain new clients. You will influence everyone from the owner of a start-up to the Financial Director or CEO of a large, established corporate. You may initially consult with them on their currency requirements, risk profile and payment solutions and progress toward securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships.

Initial prospecting activities,including attending networking events and independently handling leads throughthe sales process, client set up and early transactions.
Conduct cold calls and secure firstappointments within the Enterprise client space.
Work across internal teams to providetailored solutions for clients, and articulate how our products and servicescan best solves the challenges they face.
Conduct sales presentations withcorporate prospects/customers and apply sales techniques to uncover gaps forcreating a value proposition pitch for WUBS products and services.
Sign up Corporate Accounts and ensurefull account set up process is done.
Attaining first trades and servicingcustomers to ensure transactions are delivered in a timely manner. Build andmaintain customer relationship to ensure growing/retaining wallet share.
Maintain understanding of the FX marketand broader business/economic landscape to enhance your ability to meet andanticipate client requirements. Ongoing discovery with clients to attainvisibility on changing needs and to conduct upsell.
Meeting specific targets at each stage.
Effectively managing and maintaining apipeline to meet sales objectives.
What you will need to succeed:
Demonstrated success in new businesssales in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving targets anddeadlines.
Basic understanding of consultativesales principles, and adept at executive corporate level negotiations andbuilding long-term client relationships.
Highly self-motivated and confident,with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition.
Contribute to a positive teamenvironment.
Fluent English, and excellentcommunication/presentation skills across all media, as well as ability to usetechnology (e.g. MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, sales automationplatforms such as Salesforce).
Financially astute with knowledge ofbusiness needs/concerns, as well as the commercial impact of global news andevents.
Certificate holder in Module 1A OR 1B OR2A (Any one of these) AND Module 6A AND Module 5
