We’reseeking a Credit Analyst, based in our downtown Toronto office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of credit services to an assigned group of corporate sales teams within North America and Online Services. In addition, you will: assess or recommend credit requests submitted by assigned sales offices within acceptable turnaround times.

Work with sales teams to structure credit termsto meet client needs and appropriately mitigate risk.
Conduct analysis and prepare business cases forcredit requests requiring Risk Committee approval.
Work with other stakeholder groups to ensurecredit requests to onboard clients have all the requisite approvals.
Contribute to the development of new systems thathelp minimize risk and improve efficiency. Foster and contribute to the cultureand work environment while ensuring daily operational needs are met.
Monitor media to maintain current knowledge ofglobal and economic influences.
Provide coaching and training to assigned salesoffices with respect to credit and risk policies and procedures.
Whatyou will need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration,business or finance preferred
2 years related work experience in the financialservices industry, ideally with an emphasis on Commercial Credit.
Proven excellence in building strong relationshipswith internal partners.
Whatwill make you stand out:
Firm understanding of financial accountingprinciples with a proven ability to interpret and analyze company financialstatements and draw conclusions as to credit worthiness.
Excellent communication skills, both written andoral. Understanding of capital markets and currency derivatives.
Strong computer skills – MS Office at anIntermediate level with ability to build and manage spreadsheets.
