We’re seeking a Digital Scrum Master, based in our Vilnius, Lithuania office. This position is for a Digital Scrum Master within WU digital regional team, covering Middle East & Africa (MEA) Region. In this role, you will manage a series of digital projects during all phases of the project cycle with responsibilities that include; project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.

  • Develop, track and manage project milestones, project plans, timelines and scope 

  • Facilitate identification of timelines, dashboards, success metrics, and financial scorecards for each initiative 

  • Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising 

  • Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs 

  • Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing 

  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog

  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver superior product and customer experience

  • Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks

  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s or more Advanced degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Agile process (Scrum Framework, Lean and Scaled Agile Framework) and Agile transformation

  • Strong experience leading multiple Scrum Teams

  • Agile, PMP and CSM certifications

  • People management and team building skills

  • Proven project management experience 

  • Proven Scrum Master experience

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a quickly changing environment

What will make you stand out:

  • Previous project management experience in financial services/global money transfer industry

  • Previous experience in a global digital expansion program

  • Proven track record of successfully working with International stakeholders and coordinating projects across borders

  • Experience working in FinTech, Payments industry
