We’re seeking a Product Manager - Platform to join the Digital team in our Vilnius office. Your role will be to understand customer needs, translate them into requirements and work with engineering to implement them. You and your team will make sure that Western Union web platform is evolving consistently across product areas, and provide leadership to all product groups on how to develop our product suite’s web platform to deliver the best user experience to our customers. In this role you will be working closely with other product groups, marketing, regional business teams, customer support teams to understand customer expectations and design effective solution to exceed them. You bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love.

  • Collect and document regionalproduct requirements, features, and functionality

  • Work with regional teams andother stakeholders to get alignment product feature and functionality

  • Own BRD (Business RequirementDocuments) in accordance with WU standards and templates

  • Collect BRD approvals fromstakeholders and keep records in most organized fashion

  • Bring up and implement ideasthat would improve efficiently and effectiveness in country launch process

  • Understand product alternativesand work with multi-disciplined team to understand trade-offs and putvalue on alternatives

  • Sets priorities for multiplefeature areas/projects based on and aligns to the product vision, andclearly communicates priorities across feature teams

  • Work with UI/UX teams to bringengaging user experiences to life

  • Manage products through theproduct development lifecycle

  • Act as product owner in agileprocess. Lead in-house teams using agile scrum methodology draftingbusiness requirements, prioritizing features, authoring user stories andacceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team members to ensureproduct features are delivered according to specifications

  • Provide ongoing analysis onproduct effectiveness using a data driven approach

  • Continuously implement andimprove analytics infrastructure to track, monitor, optimize, innovate andreport on acquisition and conversion metrics

  • Work with regional teams to getalignment, report updates and build business cases, solutions etc.

What you will need tosucceed:

  • BA/BS in BusinessAdministration or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong business writing,numerical analysis and verbal communication skills

  • 8+ years of experiencedocumenting requirements, building and launching consumer applications onweb and mobile platforms

  • Experience working withmultiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different culturalbackgrounds

  • At least 5 years of productexperience in Web/Mobile technologies, and Web/Mobile user experience

  • Strong experience of Agile isrequired

  • Ability to break downrequirements into epics and stories, grooming and elaboration of stories

  • Ability to negotiate withengineering, UI, UX, Content on the story scope, complexity etc.

  • Get things done attitude;Self-motivated, with the ability to “roll-up sleeves” and prioritizecritical deadlines

  • Attention to detail and apenchant for creating great customer experiences

  • Experience developing basicwireframes and interaction flows for mobile UI’s
