We’re seeking an Associate Recruiter, based in our Ciudad de Panama, Panama office . In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening and evaluating internal and external talent/candidates for assigned area of responsibility; generally supporting the recruiting and hiring process for high-volume and other roles as required.

  • Prepare job postings

  • Use creative and unique strategies to source top talent

  • Phone screenings and evaluations of internal and external candidates for placement within Western Union

  • Present candidates and guides/assist hiring managers in the staffing process

  • Manage job offers

  • Manage the TALEO recruitment software

  • Utilize staffing technology applications to drive staffing workflow, measure performance and report results

  • Work on recruiting activities such as job fairs, open houses and others

  • Perform duties under moderate supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures

  • Assist with internal and external recruiting related communications (English and Spanish)

What you will need to succeed:

  • Strong English skills (B2)

  • University Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled on a career related to Business Administration, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management

  • Proficient user of Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)

  • Knowledge of ATS tools such as Taleo, Workday, Icims, Avature, etc.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Multinational Environment and Recruiting related responsibilities

  • Have high priority on strong client service, sense of urgency and delivering prompt feedback to stakeholder

  • A high level of professionalism

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong communicator and public speaker

  • Creative mindset

  • Flexible (schedule, fast changing environment, last minute requests, among others)

What will make you stand out:

  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus

  • Previous experience with college recruitment and internship programs is a strong plus

  • Previous knowledge/experience in Wrike, Lucid Chart and HireVue
